Week One!

Breakaway Academy week one was a success! 

Our teachers are wonderful individuals who pour their hearts into serving. They are patient and kind, and love to learn and teach. The students are fun and energetic, and are gradually becoming excited about reading.

Students are working hard learning words, reading aloud, and working together in groups. The teachers are able to use their experience in teaching as well as our BURST reading program to create a learning environment that is specific to each child’s abilities. Working in small reading groups is incredibly rewarding as each child shows progress every day. The teachers are going above and beyond in their service, which is inspiring. 

 We have high hopes for the rest of the program, and we truly believe that God is working through our small group time, and through the teachers to impact the lives of each student.
